ECE Offshore is proud to have supported Jan de Nul on the Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind export cable campaign, providing OASYS Touchdown Point Monitoring services throughout the installation.

Hornsea 3 is one of the largest offshore wind projects currently under development, and the export cable campaign presented exactly the kind of schedule-critical, high-stakes environment where reliable touchdown point monitoring makes a tangible difference.

By deploying OASYS Cable, Jan de Nul’s team had continuous, vessel-fixed, real-time visibility of the cable at the seabed — without relying on ROV-based TDP monitoring. With OASYS operating independently of ROV workability constraints, the campaign remained on schedule regardless of current conditions, removing a common and costly source of downtime.

This project adds to a growing track record of OASYS deployments on major North Sea campaigns, alongside projects including Hornsea One, Kriegers Flak, and Borkum OWF.
