OASYS in the Red Sea

ECE Offshore has completed the installation of 6 132kV interconnector cables in the Red Sea, from mainland Saudi Arabia to Farasan Island.

We returned to the Red Sea late 2025, building on the success of our 2022 campaign! This major project involves the laying and burial of 336km of 132kV submarine cable. Installation is progressing rapidly, with 224km already complete.

With OASYS Cable on board, we were able to install all 6 export cables without ROV support, and with 99.5% uptime and no unscheduled stops, OASYS has proven why ECE Offshore places it’s trust in our product.
